Ten teams duked it out for top honors at the first-ever Extreme Einstein Elimination team trivia challenge last year, but who will be this year’s biggest brains? The second annual competition returns this year on Thursday, April 7 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chesaning. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the challenge kicking off at 7 p.m.

A fundraiser for the River Rapids District Library, the competition will feature teams of four players competing for trophies and bragging rights. The event is limited to ten teams, so interested players should register early. The registration fee is $50 per team, with all proceeds benefitting library projects and programs. Teams are encouraged to seek sponsorships from area businesses and organizations to cover the entry fee. In addition to trophies for the top team, prizes will be awarded to teams with the best costumes and most team spirit.

The event is open to high school students and adults. This family-friendly competition welcomes audience members of all ages. For every $1 donation at the door, guests will receive a ticket for the prize drawing. Concessions and cash bar will be available. The menu will feature the K of C’s popular and economical Hamburger Night offerings. Bring the family out for a budget-friendly night of food and fun!

Registration forms are available at the River Rapids District Library and on the library website, Payments may be made via check, cash or PayPal. Forms must be submitted online or returned to the Chesaning Public Library no later than March 25.
